The signals that actually matter
1) They reply quickly most days (not always — most). 2) Their messages are as long as yours or longer. 3) They ask follow-up questions about things you mentioned before. 4) They start conversations without you starting them first. 5) They use your name in messages.
The subtle signs
6) They remember specific details you shared weeks ago. 7) They send memes/songs/random things 'that reminded them of you'. 8) They mention future plans that include you ('when we go to…'). 9) They reply fast even when they say they're busy. 10) They notice when you disappear — and tell you.
The sign people miss
Rhythm matters more than frequency. Someone who texts you 3x a day for a week then ghosts for 4 days is less invested than someone who texts you consistently once a day. Consistency wins.
What's NOT a sign of interest
Liking your stories. Reading your message without replying. Generic emojis (😂, 👌). 'Lol'. One-word replies. If that's most of your conversations, the attraction is probably one-sided.
